Additional Crabgrass Treatment

The product is applied as an additional control agent to mitigate crabgrass in those areas of a property particularly prone to weeds such as along driveways, walkways and curbs where additional heat stress is created. Crabgrass is a warm season annual grass which grows best in full sun in the heat of summer when lawns are semi-dormant or offer no competition. If crabgrass was a problem last year, it could likely be a problem this year especially if drought conditions and water bans continue. Prevention of weeds or other pest outbreaks is always preferable when and where possible to curative solutions after a pest outbreak.

As part of your regular maintenance program during the summer months, we will continue to spray a curative herbicide as needed for spot weed control to your lawn in accordance with the IPM (Integrated Pest Management) plan we have devised for your property.
